How long does IdentoGO take to process fingerprints in Louisiana? ›

Speed – Our enrollment agents are trained to ensure your paperwork is in order and fingerprints are captured quickly so that you can get on your way. All IdentoGO Centers are equipped with Live Scan systems to ensure quality fingerprints. Results are returned in a matter of days rather than weeks.

We are an authorized service provider for the Federal Government, including Transportation Security Administration (TSA) programs such as Universal Enrollment Services (UES) including TSA Pre ✓®, HazPrint, and TWIC.

IdentoGO by IDEMIA provides a wide range of identity-related services with our primary service being the secure capture and transmission of electronic fingerprints for employment, certification, licensing and other verification purposes – in professional and convenient locations.

Printed fingerprint cards can be obtained separately from either a local sheriff's office or police department, an IdentoGO location that provide full fingerprinting services provided as part of a separate process at State Police Headquarters for an additional fee.

Two sets of fingerprints are required. State Police Headquarters will charge a $10 fee (money order, cashier's check or company check only) to be fingerprinted. Other law enforcement agencies may charge a different fee. You may contact our office if you have any questions.

How Much Does a Background Check Cost in Louisiana? If you submit a request for a background check to the Louisiana State Police, you will be required to submit a fee of $26 per report.

As part of the application process, travelers must pay an $78 fee and go through the enrollment process — including showing identification documents and providing fingerprints. The membership is valid for five years.

Enrollment requires some vetting of your identity and background. This begins at a critical part of the application process: an in-person appointment. If it's your first time applying, this is when you'll submit required identification, have your fingerprints taken and pay the required fee.

Answer: If there is “no record” you should receive a response within 24 hrs. If fingerprints are requested the response will have to be handled manually and may take approximately 15-21 business days. Question: What is a name check? Can I make my own fingerprint card? ›

A: Generally speaking, yes. There is no "qualification" required to perform DIY fingerprints. They can be done by anyone, including yourself. There are a few states, however, such as Florida, that legally require the fingerprints be performed by law enforcement.

This can be done in person at the Bureau of Criminal Identification at State Police Headquarters located at 7919 Independence Boulevard in Baton Rouge. Their phone number is 225-925-6095. Forms can also be obtained from the Louisiana State Police website.

Once your fingerprints are taken, it generally takes 30-45 days for the FBI clearances to appear in USCIS's system. The clearances are valid for 15 months from the date of the clearance. In some cases, applicants might need to be re-fingerprinted.

How long does it take to receive results? Results of fingerprint-based checks are typically received within 3-5 business days. Note: Results are dependent upon FBI processing times, which are subject to change. I need an official sealed/apostille copy of my background check results for a specific agency.

The USPS office doing your background check should get back to you within a few days, assuming they aren't too swamped with applications. If there are a lot of applicants, though, they may take a few weeks to respond.
